Clarence D. McKenzie, Brooklyn's Drummer Boy
Brooklyn's Drummer Boy Brooklyn born Clarence McKenzie 12, joined the Brooklyn Thirteenth Regiment as a drummer boy. He lost his life when a musket accidentally discharged. A statue in his honor stands in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
